How to Play BIG BITE

🎯 Objective

Last player with HEAD intact wins!

🎮 Controls

Mouse

Drag & drop pieces to place on grid

Spacebar

Rotate piece 90° clockwise

Bite Button

Activate special capture ability

📏 Core Rules

  • 👑 HEAD Tile: Your first tile is your HEAD (marked with icon). If captured, you're eliminated instantly!
  • 🔗 Stay Connected: All tiles must connect to your HEAD (up/down/left/right). Disconnected tiles die automatically.
  • ⚔️ Line Capture: Place tiles to create straight lines through enemy tiles (8 directions: cardinal + diagonal). Enemy tiles between your tiles are captured!
  • ⏱️ Turn Timer: 10 seconds (customizable). Timer unlocks next player but doesn't force your move.
  • 🦷 Bite Ability: Earn credits through captures. Spend 5 credits for Single Bite (1 tile) or 10 credits for Monster Bite (2 tiles).

💡 Quick Tips

  • Protect your HEAD - keep it surrounded by your tiles
  • Diagonal captures are powerful - don't forget them!
  • I-pieces make great walls but create risky 1-tile connections
  • Watch for disconnection opportunities - cutting enemy bridges can destroy many tiles at once
  • Save Bite abilities for critical moments (HEAD threats, breaking encirclements)

🏆 Victory Conditions

Primary: Last HEAD standing wins!

Tie-break: Most bites → Most territory → HEAD still intact

Stalemate: If no captures occur for too long, game ends with tie-break rules
